This is a re-cut of a typeface that Mr. Holle used in his epic edition of Ptolemy’s Cosmographia that dates to the early 1480s, even predating italics. Fortunately, we added italics following the early fashion of only affecting the lower case.

Kudryashev Display is a set of light and high-contrast faces based on Kudryashev text typeface. In addition to Kudryashev Display and Kudryashev Headline faces, the type family includes also two sans-serif faces of the same weight and contrast, with some alternates.
