After many leaks and rumors finally Lenovo launched the latest flagship smartphone Lenovo Z5 Pro yesterday on November 1st at a launch event in China. In the launch event there are some specs revealed about the phone and today I’ll be describing them also I’ll describe the price and what will be the phone’s configuration. Lenovo Z5 will have a fully bezel-less display which is almost 95% screen-to-body ratio without a notch. Instead of having a notch for the front camera, speaker and other sensors Lenovo z5 pro will have a sliding back mechanism and a disappointing but powerful processor, quad camera and a lot many more as like as the previously launched Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Lenovo had teased the phone many times, we now have some image via launch event and some popular websites which gives us a better idea of what the device looks like.
Lenovo Z5 pro comes with a huge 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a High resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a 95.06% screen to body ratio. It supports DCI- P3 color gamut for rich and vivid colors. HDR 10 for viewing content on Netflix and brightness go up to 600 nits. There is a 2.07mm bezel on the top of the phone and the edges are very thin as compared to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. So we are really getting the Lenovo Z5 pro we deserve the phone in time around.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro will host a powerful Snapdragon 710 AIE Turbo chipset with up to 6GB of RAM 64GB/128GB Storage options. The phone also features AI engine chip and next-generation NFC chip for payment and security on board. The device also extended to Dolby panoramic sound which provides the rich clarity of sound.
The phone’s security Lenovo Z5 pro will have In-display fingerprint sensor and IR-Face Unlock. Now the In-display fingerprint is not as same as other flagship smartphones. The company says it is a fifth-generation optical In-display fingerprint sensor which can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds which is faster than 0.34 seconds available on the Oneplus 6T.
Talking about camera section the Z5 pro brings a vertically placed dual camera with a 16MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 24MP secondary includes Sony IMXS576 sensor with an identical aperture f/1.8 camera both camera sensor works very well in daylight, night shot and portrait shot as added Sony IMXS579 sensor to extend the picture quality.
In the Slider mechanism, there is a dual front camera with a 16MP primary sensor and 8MP IR camera to offer Face Unlock even in the low light conditions.
Lenovo is the latest phone maker company to join the bench of Xiaomi and Honour. These devices support a retro style sliding mechanism to move the widespread notch trends.
The Z5 pro made with a series of 7 aluminum and slider mechanism is backed by six position guidance structure with two parallel axes that should be around 300000 slides like Mi Mix 3 and Honour phones.
Software and Battery:
The Lenovo Z5 Pro runs under the company’s own ZUI 10 OS which is based on latest Android version Android 9 Pie which looks very similar to Xiaomis MIUI 9 from last year. It includes many features like a re-designed app, faster launch time and 4D U-Touch gesture to launch the camera or make payment.
The device is packed with 3350 mAh battery and a fast charging feature with a USB type C port for data syncing, and audio delivery now there will be no option for 3.5mm headphone jack which is very disappointing from Lenovo.
